I was born and raised in the Bootheel of Missouri. When I graduated high school, I attended Arkansas State University where I studied Mid-Level Education with an emphasis in Literacy and Social Studies.

 

After college, I was lucky enough to be offered a position as the Literacy Interventionist for 3rd-6th Grades at VPA. I was an interventionist for one year and then moved to a 6th Grade Classroom as a Literacy/Social Studies teacher. This is my fifth year in 6th Grade.

I love animals and spend most of my free time with my fur babies Teddy and Lilly. (Teddy is the cutie in my picture)

I plan on implementing a variety of teaching methods to ensure that your child reaches their fullest potential.  My objective is to create a safe and engaging learning space for each of my students. I am passionate about learning and teaching. I aim to learn something new every day and my goal is to instill that same passion for growth and learning in my students!
